THC is similar in molecular structure to a compoubd named Anandamide which humans produce naturally. Anandamide (a hormone???) the molecule has Cannabinoid (CB) receptor points. When a person ingests THC these receptor points are activated by the THC molecule (as it fits perfectly into the molecular bonding opportunities???) and they in turn activate G proteins. G proteins come in two flavours “i” and “s” (inhibitor and stimulator). G proteins are responsible for the balancing of various different dnzymes and ion channels in cells.
